Hike from St. Georgen to the foot of the Gernkogel
Beautiful hike in forest terrain and alpine region with new markings to the foot of the Gernkogel. Wonderful views of the Seckauer Tauern, the Seetal Alps and the Koralpe.
We start at the old elementary school in St. Georgen, take the path to the east above the meadow and then turn left steeply uphill. We follow the new markings until just before the Gernkogel, then continue without markings along the ridge until you reach the summit cross.
The descent is similar to the ascent.
