Perchau, Kreuzeck, Steinschloss
This tour leads from the village of Perchau am Sattel over the Kreuzeck-Höhe back down to the stone castle.
From the hiking starting point in the village of Perchau am Sattel, this path leads through meadows and forests up to the Kreuzeck-Höhe. From there it goes downhill again to the impressive and interesting Steinschloss castle ruins. Go into the castle ruins and explore the remaining walls. From there you can also marvel at the views of St. Blase, the Thajagraben, the Wölzertal or the Murtal with Teufenbach and Katsch.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Always go straight on until you reach Gotthardsdorf (Perchau am Sattel).
Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) drive to Murau. Turn right here and drive via Laßnitz, St. Lambrecht and Mariahof to Neumarkt. Turn left here and drive to Gotthardsdorf (Perchau am Sattel).
This hike starts at the hiking starting point in the village of Perchau am Sattel and then leads up to the western hill to the Perchau church in Gotthardsdorf. Then it goes south past the Brunnerberg towards the north to the Lackner homestead near the fountain. We continue through forests and meadows northwest to Kreuzeck. From there you descend to the Steinberg, where you should then see the stone castle.
