Program "Stories in Between"
A new music program between Klezmer and classical.
Moritz Weiss and the Styrian Klezmore String Quartet weave threads between Klezmer and classical art music. The string quartet breathes the atmosphere of classical music and engages in dialogue with the expressive clarinet of Moritz Weiss. Their program “Stories in Between” revolves around compositions that move between the passionate expression of the Klezmorim and the classical music tradition. With dancer-like lightness and melancholic intimacy, the five musicians cross boundaries in a fascinating world of in-betweens.
