For "cross-border commuters" (Für "Grenzgänger) / Trail 2

Only 4.4 km long and yet you hike from Styria to Burgenland and back again. One is on the way in 3 municipalities and 2 different districts.
Pleasant, short hiking route - only the first 600 m asphalt, then only forest and meadow paths. Beautiful viewpoints - a short valley crossing, otherwise always ridge location. You certainly don't reach your own limits on this hike.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.
Start in front of the spa in the direction of Thermenhotel Stoiser. Continue on the Lautenberg (like Celtic tree circle path). At the Thermenheurigen turn left along the road. At the birch trees turn right into the field path between the vineyards. Along the ridge through a wooded area to the asphalt road - stay right here (tree circle path leads to the left). Continue along the dirt road down to the Buschenschank Forjan. Here you meet the Edelsgraben road. On this road briefly turn left and after 30 m (just after the entrance to Ferienwohnung Hammer) turn right into the meadow path. Go up the hill and then turn right at the top. After you have crossed a short piece of forest, you will come to the Bad Loipersdorfer Laufparadies (green, yellow and blue signs). Here we cross - against the running direction - the forest, always staying on the path. Past the Laufparadies distributor, we return to the spa in the same way as the running route.
Take a break at the walk-in wine bottle with wine glass at the Lautenberg with a magnificent distant view.
